My personal belief is that over his/her lifetime,an individual investor needs only to identify a few companies that end up blossoming to accumulate real wealth. But anyone who is willing to focus their capital on only a few companies needs to have a framework and methodology to identify right ones.
Investing is a serious business. The most successful investors spend many hours at analyzing companies/stocks each day and have passion and patience. There are no short cuts. The portfolio that people rely on to provide and support their financial futures is too important to lack precision.
One great thing about investing is that, unlike a pitcher, who starts to lose his fastball in his mid-30s,your fastball as an investor should keep getting better.
